Wear comfortable clothing
Zenthai Shiatsu is performed fully clothed on a mat. Loose, comfortable clothing makes a significant difference to how freely you can move and how deeply you can receive the work.

Avoid heavy meals & caffeinated drinks
Zenthai Shiatsu works better on an empty stomach. The body is more resourceful and able to switch into relaxation mode. Increasing the effectiveness of the session.

Arrive settled, not rushed
Arriving 5 minutes early gives your nervous system a moment to transition before the session begins. The work goes deeper when you are not arriving in a hurry.

Let the session integrate
Effects often continue unfolding for 24–48 hours after a session. If possible, avoid high-intensity exercise immediately and stay hydrated. Give your body time to settle.
